Britain in a Day

Britain In A Day[1] is a forthcoming crowdsourced documentary film that will consist of a series clips of footage shot by members of the public in Britain on 12th November 2011.[2] Scott Free Films and the BBC are producing,[3] and the film will be made in conjunction with YouTube.[4]

The film will be premiered in cinemas and broadcast on BBC2 for a general audience, as part of the Cultural Olympiad.[5]

Billed as a follow up to the 2011 documentary film Life In A Day,[6] the film will similarly be executive produced by Ridley Scott and Kevin Macdonald[7]. The film will be directed by Morgan Matthews.[8][9]
